Texas Department of Public Safety now requires all drivers license applicants, ages 18 to 24, to take an Impact Texas Drivers (ITAD). ITAD is a , one-hour online course that must be completed at least 90 days before the applicant takes the behind the wheel skills examination at the Texas DPS or through a 3rd party tester.
ITAD must be completed after the applicant takes the 6 hour Adult Driver Education Course (ADDEC). The DFW Driving Training School offers the various Adult Drivers Education course required by Texas DPS for drivers license applicants 18-24 years of age.
